Job summary

Cencora in Corona, CA is seeking a Controls Technician to support operation of automation, conveyance, and robotics in our Distribution Center. You will diagnose electrical controls issues at inter-system and component levels, troubleshoot conveyor controls, PLCs, and VFDs, and help maintain critical warehouse equipment.

The role requires strong electrical know-how, experience with industrial networks, and the ability to work extended hours when projects demand it.

Qualifications

• Requires technical vocational training with at least two years related experience.
• Strong electrical background preferred.
• Diagnose electrical control issues to a component level.

Responsibilities

• Executes effective preventative maintenance on critical and support systems.
• Promptly diagnoses and repairs faults and supports efficiency improvements in Materials Handling Equipment and robotic and other automated systems.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity with warehouse operations.
• Uses EAMS software for all work performed and parts used in the Distribution Center.
• Supports spare parts stockroom inventory through check-out, ordering, and receiving in EAMS.
• Must be willing to work extended hours, as occasionally needed, to support projects and productivity goals.
• Performs related duties, training, and housekeeping requirements as assigned.
