Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Controls Technician II in Corona, CA to maintain and repair material handling equipment and automated picking systems. You will diagnose electrical and PLC issues, read CAD/IPB diagrams, and support system upgrades.

The role requires background in electrical controls, PLCs, HMI systems, and the ability to work a Sunday-Thursday 5pm-1:30am shift with potential extended hours to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Requires technical vocational training or equivalent; 2+ years related experience preferred.
• Strong electrical background and ability to read CAD/IPB diagrams.
• Experience diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues up to 600V and with PLCs.
• Ability to operate and diagnose chill water plant systems and BAS/HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Ensures preventative maintenance plans for facility equipment and systems.
• D Diagnoses MHE and automated picking system errors; performs repairs.
• Oversees maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of controls.
• Assesses efficiency and defines modifications for MHE and AS/RS systems.
• Maintains CMMS/EAM records for repairs and parts inventory.
• Willing to work extended hours to meet productivity goals.
