Job summary

Walmart Inc. seeks an experienced Automation/Maintenance Engineer to program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC-based control systems in manufacturing operations. You will diagnose complex issues and implement improvements across automation, HMIs, sensors, and drives.

Collaborating with maintenance, operations, and engineering, you will drive reliability, provide technical guidance, and train associates while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and safe working practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in engineering, technology, or related field preferred.
• 1 year of maintenance or related experience.
• 2 years PLC/Robot programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and automation systems.
• Provide on-call remote and onsite technical support.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve reliability.
• Train associates on operation and repair of automation equipment.
