Autoliv is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer to design and optimize advanced manufacturing systems. You will collaborate with engineering and production to develop, program, and maintain high-performance automation using robotics and control technologies.

The role requires a background in electrical or mechatronics engineering, 2–5+ years in manufacturing, and hands-on experience with FANUC robotics and industrial networks. On-site position with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, CS or related field.
2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
Proficiency in programming and configuring industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, iRVision).
Experience supporting high-volume production environments.
Hands-on shop floor experience troubleshooting processes.
Strong understanding of control networks and protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC UA, RS232/RS485.
Experience with servo systems, motion controllers, and analog/digital I/O integration.
