Autoliv United States Automation Controls Engineer role on the shop floor focuses on designing and optimizing advanced manufacturing systems using robotics and control technologies.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop, program, and maintain high-performance automation solutions, including servo systems, motion controllers, and industrial networks like Ethernet/IP and Profinet.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Proficiency in programming and configuring industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, iRVision).
• Experience supporting high-volume production environments.
• Hands-on shop floor experience troubleshooting processes.
• Strong understanding of control networks and protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, OPC UA, RS232/RS485.
• Experience with servo systems, motion controllers, and analog/digital I/O integration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering
