Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Controls/Automation or related field; hands-on experience accepted.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs in industrial/manufacturing settings.
- Knowledge of HMIs, VFDs, industrial networks, electrical schematics, and control panels.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs, HMIs, and control systems.
- Diagnose electrical and controls issues with sensors, drives, motors, and networks.
- Design and implement controls upgrades to improve safety, uptime, and throughput.
- Support equipment installation, startup, testing, and commissioning.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, control documentation, and program backups.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians and operators for recurring issues and training.
- Coordinate with vendors and integrators on new installations and improvements.
- Follow electrical and machine safety practices, including lockout/tagout.
