Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and support for PLCs, robots, motion control, and vision systems to minimize automation‑related downtime.
Modify and optimize PLC logic, HMI screens, and robot programs to improve system performance, usability, and reliability.
Support equipment upgrades, running changes, and control system updates with minimal impact to production.
Lead root cause analysis for automation, throughput, and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Partner with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to maintain documentation, training, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related engineering field.
5–7 years of Controls or Automation Engineering experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment (automotive BIW preferred).
Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (Rockwell, Siemens, or equivalent) and HMI/SCADA systems.
