Job summary

Responsibilities include diagnosing PLC/SCADA issues, modifying Allen-Bradley platforms, and managing full project lifecycles with external contractors. This role requires hands-on engineering experience and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of technical education and hands-on experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in PLC programming and SCADA-based control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to manage at least two full engineering design cycles, including component selection and programming.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical and mechanical systems with minimal supervision.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across material handling systems, including PLCs, SCADA platforms, and vision systems.
• Develop and implement software modifications for Allen Bradley control platforms to enhance equipment efficiency.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of technical projects, from initial concept and design to network implementation and final inspection.
• Manage external contractor relationships, ensuring all installations and upgrades meet rigorous quality and safety standards.
• Analyze system failures to identify root causes and implement corrective strategies that prevent future downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate project timelines, technical requirements, and operational impacts effectively.
• Monitor industrial network health, including Ethernet, servo drives, and frequency drives, to maintain peak performance.
