Job summary
Carlisle Companies in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Controls Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and integrate automated manufacturing process control systems. You will work with Maintenance, Production, EH&S, and management to resolve technical issues and support capital projects from design through startup.
The role is primarily on site, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime, travel about one week per quarter, and emphasis on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Siemens hardware, Rockwell software, and Allen-Bradley hardware.
- Proficient in industrial controls and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with PLCs and HMIs.
- Familiar with Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, Profinet.
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring per NEC.
- Data historian development.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with existing process equipment and control systems.
- Provides training and technical assistance to plant personnel.
- Manages projects including scope development and execution.
- Designs machine control systems using the latest hardware/software to maximize productivity and safety compliance.
- Assists with project goals, schedules, and upgrades.
