Job summary

Carlisle Brake & Friction is seeking an experienced controls technician to maintain and troubleshoot equipment and facility systems, with emphasis on PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, robotics and electrical power distribution. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of machine controls, automation, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Must possess strong communication, analytical abilities and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Maintain/troubleshoot equipment and facility systems focusing on controls (relay logic, PLCs and HMIs).
• Troubleshoot and modify automation systems, components and networks.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations on process improvements.
• Assist automation suppliers to specify products and arrange purchases.
• Lead CI initiatives.
