Job summary

Campbell's is seeking a seasoned Automation & Controls Engineer to lead the strategy, standards, and execution of automation initiatives across the plant. You will act as subject matter expert for automation systems, integrating new equipment and optimizing existing lines to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role drives capital projects, supports maintenance training, and partners with operations to achieve cost and performance targets in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma.
• 4+ years of experience in automation and controls.
• Experience with high-speed automation, robotics, and VFDs.
• Proficient with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming, vision systems, Fanuc robotics.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• OSHA General Industry knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute the strategic vision for automation and control systems.
• Lead capital projects from estimation to training and handover.
• Provide daily technical support to Plant Operations to drive performance.
• Support advanced troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Define engineering standards and oversee design/installation across multiple disciplines.
