Job summary
PACIV, an Indianapolis-based leader in Process Automation, is seeking an experienced Industrial Automation & Controls Engineer II. You will own projects from concept through startup, designing PLC-based systems on Rockwell platforms, and developing control narratives, BOMs, and drawings.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in industrial automation, controls engineering, or systems integration.
- Proven delivery from design through commissioning on automation projects.
- Strong Rockwell hardware/software experience, incl. Studio 5000 & PlantPAx.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and control narratives.
Responsibilities
- Own projects from concept through startup across control system architectures.
- Design PLC-based automation systems using Rockwell platforms.
- Develop control narratives, BOMs, I/O lists, and network diagrams.
- Create panels and electrical schematics with AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA applications using appropriate platforms.
- Lead FAT/SAT, startup, and commissioning activities with customers.
- Collaborate with customers to define requirements and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with UL508A, NFPA 70, NFPA 70E and related standards.
