You will develop Rockwell/Allen-Bradley software, structured text, and motion control, manage budgets and timelines, run field trials at customer sites, and mentor both internal and external teams to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Significant Rockwell from-scratch programming background; Siemens a strong bonus.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, instrumentation and 480VAC.
• Safety standards knowledge - ISO 13849, IEC 60204, NFPA 79, SISTEMA.
• Packaging or industrial machinery OEM experience - machine builds, not plant maintenance.
• 7-10+ years in automation/control systems, or a BSEE.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation projects from concept and hardware selection through industrialization.
• Develop all required software - Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, structured text, motion control.
• Manage the project - budgets, timelines, suppliers, documentation, compliance.
• Mentor internal and external engineering teams on troubleshooting and technical decisions.
• Run field trials, validation and training at customer sites.
