Job summary

Olympus Controls Corp. in Sherwood, OR is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer II to design, develop and support automation solutions for machine and process applications, including vision-guided robotics and AMRs.

You will work with Electrical, Mechanical and Application Engineering teams, draft UL 508A electrical schematics, program PLCs/HMI and troubleshoot hardware and software while traveling up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent; master’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of automation controls design, coding, or troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with vision systems and robotics is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and control system software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support electro-mechanical automation solutions.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical and Application Engineering teammates.
• Draft control system schematics to UL 508A and troubleshoot hardware/software.
• Hands-on problem solving and ongoing learning with various automation technologies.
