Job summary

Olympus Controls, a dynamic Automation Company, seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer II to design, develop, test and support electro‑mechanical automation systems. You will work with engineers to create robotics, vision, motion, and AMR solutions, and contribute to system architecture and control software under UL 508A standards.

The role requires hands‑on problem solving, strong communication, and ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast‑paced environment. Travel may be infrequent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering; master's preferred.
• 2–5 years of automation controls experience required.
• Experience with mechatronics, robotics and vision systems is a plus.
• Demonstrated control system software coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and support electro‑mechanical automation solutions.
• Draft electrical schematics to UL508A standards using SolidWorks Electrical.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical and Application Engineers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, software and communications aspects of controls.
• Write and test application code; share progress and blockers.
• Support project execution and hands‑on problem solving.
