Job summary
Daifuku, a leader in material handling solutions in Bolingbrook, IL, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop automation products including conveyors, sortation, and robotic systems. You will create control schematics, develop PLC programs, and support manufacturing with documentation and testing.
The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and at least two years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Allen Bradley software, AutoCAD Electrical, and knowledge of safety
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Experience with sortation and conveyance equipment or robotics design.
- Experience with Allen Bradley control software and tools.
- Knowledge of electrical and safety codes for machine and equipment design including execution of risk assessments.
Responsibilities
- Concept, design, develop and engineer products that add value and meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with the development team to review and refine products.
- Ensure products fit with current and future manufacturing operations.
- Develop PLC programs and prepare schematics for control panels.
- Maintain schedules and cost estimates; support safety and performance testing.
- Travel up to 30%.
