Job summary

Daifuku is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and develop control systems for material handling equipment, including conveyors and robotic systems. You will work with the engineering team to ensure safety, reliability, and performance while meeting project cost and schedule targets.

Required are a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and Allen-Bradley tools, and knowledge of PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and safety codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with sortation and conveyance equipment or robotics design.
• Experience with Allen Bradley control software and tools.
• Knowledge of electrical and safety codes for machine and equipment design including execution of risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Concept, design, develop and engineer products for customers and market needs.
• Collaborate with the development team to create products.
• Ensure compatibility with manufacturing operations and market demands.
• Develop PLC programs and control system schematics.
• Prepare schematics and specifications for panel fabrication.
• Maintain project schedules and cost estimates.
• Conduct prototype development and on-site beta testing.
• Investigate field issues and determine root causes.
