Job summary

Marvin is seeking an Electrical/Controls Engineer to own the electrical and software control of production equipment. You will design schematics, implement PLC and HMI, and improve equipment performance while collaborating with engineers, technicians, and production teams.

The role emphasizes Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and effective communication. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in automation is preferred, with strong hands-on control system skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred or demonstrated experience in automation controls and programming.
• Experience with PLC programming and control systems is expected.
• Familiarity with Rockwell Automation hardware and RSLogix software is required.
• Lean manufacturing concepts should be understood and applied.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine schematics and hardware requirements.
• Implement PLC code and HMIs for production processes.
• Provide support across data systems and control interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and departments.
• Lead improvement teams and Kaizen events.
• Design and review interfaces between equipment and shop floor users.
• Develop training modules for data flow and comms in production.
