Job summary

Marvin is seeking a Weekend Controls Technician to support our automated manufacturing equipment at our premium window and door facility. In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot and repair PLC-based control systems, sensors, VFDs, and electrical components to minimize downtime and keep production running safely.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, assist with control upgrades, document work in a CMMS, and collaborate with production and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting of PLC-based systems.
• Experience with sensors, actuators, and electrical components.
• Familiarity with CMMS workflows and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLC-based control systems, sensors, VFDs, and electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on automated equipment to minimize downtime.
• Assist with control upgrades and commissioning.
• Document work and downtime in the CMMS and coordinate with teams.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to maintain safe operations.
