Job summary

Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer for a Midwest food manufacturing client. The role focuses on developing and managing engineering plans, overseeing capital projects, and supervising technical services.

You will design and maintain control networks, OT infrastructure, and Rockwell PLC/HMI programming, with a preference for candidates who have extensive food industry experience. Salary up to $130,000 plus bonus and relocation support.

Qualifications

• No Degree? You’ll need at least 10 years in Electrical Design, Control Networks, and Rockwell PLC/HMI programming.
• If you have a bachelor’s degree, you need at least 5 years in Electrical Design, Control Networks, and Rockwell PLC/HMI Programming.
• At least 5 years in the food industry as a Automation Control Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage engineering plans and capital projects for the plant.
• Oversee budgets and supervise day-to-day technical services.
• Maintain and improve facility automation, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Design, deploy, and manage OT infrastructure, including networks and security.
