Austin Allen Company - Professional Recruitment is seeking an Automation Controls Engineer for a Midwest food manufacturing client. The role focuses on developing and managing engineering plans, overseeing capital projects, and supervising technical services.

You will design and maintain control networks, OT infrastructure, and Rockwell PLC/HMI programming, with a preference for candidates who have extensive food industry experience. Salary up to $130,000 plus bonus and relocation support.

Qualifications

• No Degree? You’ll need at least 10 years in Electrical Design, Control Networks, and Rockwell PLC/HMI programming.
• If you have a bachelor’s degree, you need at least 5 years in Electrical Design, Control Networks, and Rockwell PLC/HMI Programming.
• At least 5 years in the food industry as a Automation Control Engineer.

Responsibilities

Automation Controls Engineer – Midwest – Food Manufacturing A MUST

Salary up to $130,000 + Bonus + Great Benefits & Paid Relocation to the Midwest

This growing company has an exciting opportunity for a talented Automated Controls Engineer to develop and manage the implementation of engineering plans and projects for the plant. As the Controls Engineer, you’ll oversee capital projects and manage the budget. You will supervise and support day-to-day technical services of the facility. This includes managing, maintaining and improving the facility automation, instrumentation and electrical systems.

You’ll also need experience with control network design and maintenance plans including design, deployment, and management; OT infrastructure such as network, server, security management, server and network switch configuration.

Supervisory or team lead experience is highly valued.

Minimum requirements for this Automation Control Engineering position:
