Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of controls engineering manufacturing experience; automotive experience preferred.
• Experience with Allen Bradley RS Logix 5/5000, ControLogix and PanelView is required.
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical interfaces with electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues including PLC ladder logic and data handling.
• Maintain PLC documentation and archive programs/drawings.
• Repair and improve automated equipment and I/O, sensors, relays, servo drives.
• Back up machine control programs and develop preventive maintenance.
• Support root-cause analysis and equipment purchase specifications.
