VERSANT Media is seeking an L3 Automation and Cloud Specialist Support Engineer to join its Operational & Technology organization. This role bridges hands-on L3 support and DevOps for media systems, cloud platforms, automation tools, and workflows powering production and content operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings urgency and ownership to complex incidents, and uses automation to improve reliability and supportability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering, DevOps, platform support, media technology, or advanced technical support.
• Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of YAML, JSON, XML, and PHP; able to read, troubleshoot, and develop scripts and integrations.
• Strong systems administration and troubleshooting skills across Linux/Unix, macOS, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced L3 support for mission-critical media, cloud, automation, storage, and enterprise systems; coordinate escalations with L3 engineering, vendors, and platform owners.
• Troubleshoot complex service, integration, permissions, networking, storage, and performance issues across Linux/Unix, macOS, and Windows environments.
• Support MAM/PAM and newsroom/media systems, including Avid Interplay, Fonn Mimir, and Avid MediaCentral UX.
