Job summary

VERSANT Media, LLC is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer – Cloud to define, design, and evolve our enterprise cloud platforms. You will lead architecture decisions, drive automation via infrastructure as code, and partner with security, networking, and application teams to deliver resilient, scalable cloud services.

The role emphasizes deep AWS expertise, multi-account governance, and a strong track record of mentoring engineers while supporting hybrid connectivity and cloud modernization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in cloud/infrastructure engineering for enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a senior technical lead or architect.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms and enterprise governance.
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, including VPCs, routing, transit architectures.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Ability to lead complex initiatives spanning multiple teams and influence direction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical authority for cloud infrastructure and architecture.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud solutions.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards across the organization.
• Design secure and scalable cloud networking architectures and multi-account environments.
• Develop reusable infrastructure patterns and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with security, identity, and governance teams to ensure compliance.
