Job summary

Axle is a bioscience and IT company supporting research centers, now hiring an Automation Cell Culture Biologist at the NIH/NIA in Baltimore, MD. This role centers on iPSC culture, differentiation, and automated phenotyping to study ADRD pathways using high-throughput liquid handling platforms.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree in a related field, GLP certification, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant life science field is required.
  • Minimum of two years related experience with GLP is required.
  • Hands-on experience with automated liquid handling robotics is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform iPSC culture, differentiation, and phenotyping on automated platforms.
  • Characterize ADRD-related mutations in cell-based models.
  • Collaborate on large-scale cell culture experiments using high-throughput robotics.
  • Maintain accurate lab notebooks and data records.
  • Develop and optimize differentiation protocols and analyses.
