Job summary

Aagard in Minnesota is hiring for a role focused on owning the build process from start to finish. You will assemble mechanical/electrical components, log issues, maintain tools, and drive projects to meet goals. Travel for installations and training is expected.

This position emphasizes independence, problem-solving, and strong communication with internal teams and customers. A high school diploma or associate degree with assembly experience is preferred; CAD reading and blueprint knowledge are

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma; associate’s degree in a related field preferred with assembly experience.
Ability to read and properly use measuring instruments and small hand tools.
Knowledge of blueprint reading: hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and use of correct terminology.
Ability to read CAD drawings and operate CAD software.
Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific software.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
Must obtain and maintain a valid passport.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components according to specifications.
Log issues and follow established corrective action workflows.
Maintain tools and work areas with a focus on safety and organization.
Demonstrate independence, adaptability and problem-solving.
Verify build quality by checking parts and assemblies against prints and standards.
Lead projects as the primary internal contact, ensuring schedules are met and proactively communicating delays.
