Job summary

Aagard is seeking an Automation Technician in Alexandria, MN to own the build process from start to finish. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components, log issues, and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Support knowledge sharing and training of fellow team members.

Knowledge And Experience

• Minimum High School diploma, Associate’s degree in related field plus assembly experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Knowledge of blueprint reading: hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and use of correct terminology
• Ability to read CAD drawings and operate CAD software
• Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time, which may include any day of the week.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid passport. (cost reimbursed by Aagard)
