Job summary

Murata Electronics is seeking an Application Analyst to support, configure, and develop business applications and automation solutions. The role blends technical work with business process improvement, collaborating with IT and business users in a hybrid Atlanta setting.

You will design and implement enhancements, provide training, and deliver governance-compliant solutions. A Bachelor’s in IT/CS and 3+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting, configuring, developing, or implementing business applications, automation solutions, or related systems.
• Knowledge of business process analysis, databases, and application technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business requirements; designs, configures, documents, implements, and supports new or existing applications and systems in accordance with company needs and policies.
• Develops and supports business process automations using company-approved automation solutions and technologies.
• Coordinates application and automation enhancements, including analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Supports process re-engineering by working with users to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Supports Citizen Development through technical guidance, troubleshooting, training, and development of approved low-code and automation solutions.
• Analyzes and documents problems, recommends solutions, initiates corrective actions, and follows up on problem resolution.
• Works with business groups and cross-functional teams to support process improvement and technology initiatives.
• Performs testing and validation of applications and system updates prior to implementation.
• Supports organizational governance, standards, and deployment guidelines.
• Provides user support and training for business applications and IT solutions.
• Develops and delivers user documentation, training materials, and presentations to support effective system utilization.
• Coordinates with technical teams as needed to support issue resolution and implementation activities.
