Job summary

Murata, a global leader in advanced electronic materials and components, seeks an Application Analyst in a hybrid Atlanta setting. You will support, configure, and develop business applications and automation solutions, working with management, users, IT teams, and vendors to enable process improvements.

The role emphasizes technical guidance, troubleshooting, training, and governance adherence, with a focus on creating scalable automation and low-code capabilities across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting, configuring, developing, or implementing business applications or automation solutions.
• Knowledge of business process analysis, databases, and application technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and user training skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business requirements; designs, configures, documents, implements, and supports applications and systems.
• Develops and supports business process automations using approved automation technologies.
• Coordinates application and automation enhancements across testing and implementation.
• Supports process re-engineering with users to improve workflows and automation.
• Supports Citizen Development with technical guidance and training for low-code solutions.
• Analyzes problems, recommends solutions, and follows up on resolutions.
• Works with cross-functional teams to support process improvement and tech initiatives.
• Performs testing and validation of applications and updates prior to launch.
• Provides governance, standards, and deployment guidance.
