Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Business Solutions Developer to create technical solutions for moderately complex business needs. You will lead development initiatives, coordinate with business areas, and justify costs while enabling automation and productivity improvements.

Requirements include a 3+ year track record in related fields, a Bachelor's degree or higher, and familiarity with SAS PROC SQL, Tableau, and VBA. The role supports Hybrid Flex work in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze business requirements to create technical solutions outside standard IS environments.
• Identify automation tools to reduce manual processes and improve systems while following SLAs.
• Independently test and debug code and support other developers' projects as needed.
• Coordinate as a departmental project lead on small to medium projects.
• Provide consultative support and discovery to capture requirements and metrics.
• Document project plans and manage work deliverables with partners.
