Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, OR is seeking an experienced Automation AMHS Equipment Engineer to design, develop, test, and sustain software for automated material handling and storage in a cleanroom environment.

You will collaborate with firmware, IT services, and manufacturing teams to optimize AMHS performance, support integration of new equipment, and ensure reliable operations across Intel's Foundry fabs in Oregon. On-site shift 1, experienced hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 3+ years of experience.
• Master's degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of experience.
• 1+ year of model-based problem solving experience.
• 1+ year of CAD/CAM/CAE with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Own, design, develop, test, validate, debug, and sustain software for AMHS.
• Work with firmware, drivers, OS, databases, firewalls, and algorithms to boost performance.
• Support integration, installation, qualification, and startup of AMHS and equipment.
• Enable automated movement and storage of wafers and reticles across Oregon campuses.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage escalations, and drive timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT services to optimize factory operations.
• Integrate new product introductions into factory environments while maintaining existing systems.
• Collaborate with manufacturing customers and stakeholders to deliver automation capabilities.
