Job summary

Jensen Precast (Lockeford plant) is seeking an Automated Equipment Operator to maximize output, ensure top quality, and operate a MBK Wire Cage Machine. You will move cages to the EPak Pipe monitor for pallet placement and adhere to safety procedures.

The role requires experience with automated machinery, familiarity with CMMS, PLC controls, and basic MS Excel/ERP tools. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fully automated or semi-automated machinery in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
• Familiar with PLC control equipment and PLC languages.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Skilled at troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications and work orders to determine sequence of operations.
• Prepare machine for production by positioning dies and guides.
• Set and adjust controls to regulate machining.
• Produce parts by aligning work pieces and operating equipment.
• Ensure specifications by inspecting outputs and detecting malfunctions.
• Document actions in production and quality logs.
• Contribute to team goals and complete cleanup at shift end.
