Job summary

Molex is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to design production test strategies for high‑speed data cables and integrate test systems across manufacturing regions. You will deploy strategies with cross‑functional teams and upgrade software for test equipment used globally.

You will coordinate software development with design centers and document results while ensuring quality systems compliance and effective test coverage.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of test and measurement experience for High-Speed products.
• Proficient in Python scripting.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, TDR modules, and VNA equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop production test strategies for global manufacturing of active high-speed data cables.
• Manage production test strategy deployment with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality, and project management.
• Develop, integrate, and upgrade software for test systems across multiple regions (China, Mexico, India, Vietnam).
• Coordinate software development with design centers including product development and signal integrity.
• Create and deploy software following CI/CD pipelines, review software, and document results.
• Create and maintain product and test system documentation and work instructions.
• Support Molex TQM and Quality/Environmental Management Systems by following policies.
