Job summary

Benz Technology Inc is seeking an Automated Test Engineer to ensure quality and performance of a web-based report system. You will design and maintain automated test suites, working with developers, engineers, and product owners to validate features and support modernization.

The role requires Playwright experience, JavaScript/TypeScript testing, and collaboration in an Agile environment. Hybrid work with up to 2 days telework is available; U.S.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Playwright required; explicit on resume.
• Experience testing modern web apps, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Strong QA methodologies, testing processes, and Agile collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated UI and API test scripts using Playwright.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and document defects and metrics.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD) with DevOps and software engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and demos.
• Collaborate with team to ensure coverage for new features and bug fixes.

U.S. citizenship required.About the RoleWe are looking for an Automated Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of a modern web-based report authoring and dissemination system. You will design and maintain automated test suites while working closely with a cross-functional Agile team of developers, systems engineers, and product owners.
