Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a full-time Waste Collection Driver to operate a fully automated side loading truck on designated routes. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, document daily reports, and communicate issues to supervisors while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a valid CDL and at least two years of driving experience or a CDL school certificate. You will work independently with minimal oversight and support routing efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED desired.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automated side loading truck on public road to collect solid waste on a route.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required reports daily.
• Report vehicle mechanical problems immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain route quality standards and clean vehicle.
• Comply with safety rules, company policies, and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and assist with routing improvements.
