Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a dedicated operator for our 24/7 manufacturing facility in Newington, CT. The role focuses on safe operation of production equipment, palletizing, and accurate data entry into SAP while maintaining high quality and efficiency standards.

You will follow SOPs, participate in changeovers, and support packaging and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy. A strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to work flexible shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing; dairy experience preferred.
• Safety and quality training is a plus; GMP/HACCP knowledge is expected.
• Be proficient with SOPs, SAP ERP data entry, and basic equipment controls.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently, including case packing and palletizing.
• Stack products manually according to pallet patterns and production schedules.
• Enter data accurately into the ERP system (SAP) and verify product codes and quantities.
• Perform equipment changeovers, adjustments and routine cleanup.
• Coordinate with packaging and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits and follow safety and GMP requirements.
