Job summary
Advantage Technical is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Acton, MA to operate, set up, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment focused on quality and advanced technology.
The role emphasizes troubleshooting, hands-on problem solving, and collaboration with production teams to improve efficiency while maintaining GMP and cleanroom requirements. Compensation is $24 per hour for an A-Shift schedule: Mon-Thu, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- OR at least 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience with automated equipment, robotics, HMIs, or production machinery is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate, set up, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment.
- Perform basic machine repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Monitor production processes and adjust equipment using HMIs.
- Troubleshoot machine faults, stoppages, and process issues.
- Conduct equipment inspections and document maintenance activities.
- Utilize measuring tools to verify product quality and tolerances.
- Support inventory, quality control, and production documentation.
- Maintain GMP standards and cleanroom manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve efficiency and resolve issues.
