Job summary

Proclinical is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician to join a dynamic team in Acton, MA. This role involves operating and maintaining advanced manufacturing equipment, supporting quality and efficiency, and working across multiple technologies.

You will be trained across various processes, with responsibilities including setup, maintenance, fault resolution, and process monitoring to ensure product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • English reading, writing and communication required.
  • Basic math skills including arithmetic and geometry.
  • Experience with automated equipment and HMIs.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools like micrometers and calipers.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or cleanroom a plus.
  • Knowledge of automated machines and production processes.
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, repair and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Manage raw material feeds; clear faults and address stoppages on automated equipment.
  • Use HMIs to monitor and adjust process controls.
  • Conduct equipment inspections and generate corrective or preventive work orders.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, safety concerns, and process inefficiencies.
  • Utilize computer systems for inventory and quality management.
  • Support new product design transfer, process development, and validations.
  • Perform routine cleaning, inspection and lubrication of machinery.
  • Maintain measuring and monitoring devices and ensure correct tolerances.
  • Follow SOPs including material handling, record keeping, and packaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent manufacturing experience.
  • Proficiency in English for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, and geometry.
  • Experience with automated equipment and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge blocks.
