Job summary

Vylor, a Corteva spin-off, seeks a Production Technician to join our St. Joseph, IL team. You will help operate highly automated plant and warehouse processes, ensuring safety and quality across harvesting, conditioning, packaging, and logistics.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a 2-year technical/associates in agriculture or manufacturing, with willingness for rotating shifts, overtime, and weekend work. A valid US driver's license and computer proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; willing to obtain GED within 12 months of hire.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, nights and weekends during peak seasons.
• Valid US Driver’s License; strong computer skills and ability to learn company apps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; problem-solving abilities.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Model Safety as the number one focus and be a Safety Steward of the program.
• Operate highly automated equipment for harvesting, conditioning, treating, and packing.
• Monitor receiving, conditioning, packaging, harvest, product return, and precleaning.
• Support conditioning activities such as sizing, packaging, palletizing, and related tasks.
• Participate in harvest activities and field logistics management.
• Perform warehouse activities including forklift operation and sample collection.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
