Novolex in Stockton, CA is hiring an Assistant Cup Machine Operator to manage setup, feeding and operation of automatic case packers and baggers on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role requires attention to quality, adherence to production schedules, and safe operation of equipment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, manufacturing experience, basic math skills, and the ability to read and follow machine instructions.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to count and perform basic math.
• Basic knowledge of machinery and common tools.
• Must be able to read and write in English; communicate quality problems to operators/supervisor.
• Must understand machine-specific operating instructions and processes to ensure quality and safety.

Mansioni

• Sets up and adjusts feeds and operates automatic case packers and baggers.
• Makes adjustments to keep baggers and ACPs functioning properly.
• Performs PM on baggers and ACPs as directed.
• Shuts down, starts up, and un-jam baggers/ACPs as required; prepares for shifts.
• Changes rolls on baggers and fills case magazine on case packer.
• Performs quality checks on cases (rim dings, sleeve dents, bag sealing, counts).
• Communicates issues to operators/QC/supervisor or leads as needed.
• Fills shift paperwork and follows job jacket for production specifications.
• Cleans area during/after shift; disposes waste properly.
• Prepares next shift for continued operation; assists in safety and housekeeping.
