Novolex, a leading packaging manufacturer, is hiring a Cartons Machine Operator in St. Charles, IL. The role operates a zone of forming machines, performs routine maintenance, and troubleshoots machine issues to sustain production.

The position includes a second shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Mon-Fri, with pay between $21.95 and $27.44 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Requires 2 years related experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Performs minor repairs during production.
• Performs daily and weekly machine maintenance.
• Conducts quality checks at regular intervals and takes corrective action to fix defects identified.
• Make appropriate adjustments or repairs to ensure cartons meet specifications and machines operate properly.
• Assist Operators in troubleshooting complex problems on their machines.
• Communicates production information to crew members and reviews problems across shifts.
• Performs purge procedures when changing to a new product and completes the required checklists.
