Hedy Holmes Staffing in Stockton, CA is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator for the graveyard shift. You will operate vertical form fill and horizontal form fill packaging equipment and support the production team to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, weight control adjustments, logging, and training new staff. A high school diploma, mechanical aptitude, and packaging experience are required; safety compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass Machine Operator test.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machinery operation preferred.
• Proven experience as a packaging machine operator or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsabilités

• Operate packaging equipment associated with manufacturing process.
• Demonstrate technical competency with vertical form fill and horizontal form fill packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot and adjust statistical weigher to drive low giveaway and low film waste, while maximizing labor efficiency of the line.
• Must be computer literate to include MS Office Suite, OIT/HMI usage and process control functionality.
• Machine efficiency—anticipating film and coding ribbon changes to maximize machine uptime.
• Line logs—fill out paperwork accurately and legibly; use bar coding equipment as required.
• Assist in training of new employees.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot problems and contact supervision if persistent issues occur.
• Perform duties with required safety equipment and comply with GMPs and company policies.
• Set up and adjust packaging machines to production specifications.
