Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is seeking an experienced Automated Assembly Mechanical Design Engineer for a Rochester Hills, MI area position. You will design and develop material handling robotics and factory automation lines for customers, and coordinate with clients to capture requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering and at least 3 years of design experience in custom robotics or machineries.

Formación

• 3+ years design experience in custom robotics or machineries.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication and collaboration in a multicultural environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop material handling robotics and factory automation lines for customers.
• Create and maintain engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to finalize designs and obtain customer approval.
• Support ongoing process improvement in the design department.
• Prepare records of design changes and project updates.
