Job summary

Turn-Key Solutions, a growing automation company, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design custom machinery and automation systems from concept through installation. This hands‑on role moves designs from 3D models to the shop floor and into customer facilities.

The ideal candidate collaborates with customers, project managers, and engineers to meet requirements, safety, and production needs, with occasional travel for installations and startups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of mechanical design experience in automation or manufacturing equipment.
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Ability to create detailed part drawings, weldments, assemblies, layouts, and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Design custom automation equipment, robotic cells, fixtures, and production workholding solutions.
• Develop concepts, layouts, 3D models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define machine requirements and performance targets.
• Perform tolerance stack‑ups, basic calculations, and load analysis.
