Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Inventor Drafter to support the design and manufacturing of modular wall systems and architectural products. You will produce detailed manufacturing drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings, and BOMs using Autodesk Inventor and Vault, ensuring precise data management and revision control.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Inventor daily experience, strong Vault administration skills, and a track record of collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to

Qualifications

• 3+ years drafting or design in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience with Autodesk Vault or similar PDM.
• Experience creating 3D models, shop drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Experience supporting manufacturing and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models and drawings using Inventor.
• Develop and maintain BOMs for manufacturing.
• Use Vault to manage CAD files, revisions, and drawing releases.
• Collaborate with engineering, drafting, and manufacturing teams.
• Update Inventor models and drawings per design changes.
• Support manufacturing with fabrication and installation documentation.
• Maintain revision control and file organization in Vault.
• Interpret drawings and specifications.
• Participate in Inventor workflows and drafting standard improvements.
