Job summary

Portable Solutions Group is seeking a Design/Drafting professional to assist the design team by developing new product designs and improving existing ones using Autodesk Inventor and Vault. You will create 3D parametric models, assemblies, and detailed drawings, and track time on multiple projects.

Work with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet drawing standards, maintain data organization, and resolve design issues in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years in a Design/Manufacturing Setting.
• 2 to 5 years in Drafting or Engineering.
• AA.S. in CAD & Design (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise detailed manufacturing drawings using CAD Software.
• Manage engineering drawings and data in Inventor Vault environment.
• Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control.
• Collaborate with engineers to clarify design requirements and resolve issues.
• Review drawings for accuracy and drafting standards.
• Multi-task on several projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Revise existing drawings based on feedback from the design team.
• Assist with design modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
