Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Operations General Supervisor at the Carlin operations. The role leads front-line supervisors to operate processing facilities safely, directing activities to maximize efficiency and metal recovery.

Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, you will develop talent, manage performance, and drive health, safety, and environmental objectives. You will champion the company’s zero-harm culture, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and seven (7) years’ experience or twelve (12) years’ related experience preferred
• At least six (6) years in a supervisory position preferred
• Good computer skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work directly with others are required

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of front-line supervisors in the safe operation of processing facilities to ensure efficiency and optimal metal recovery.
• Develop and implement training and development plans for supervisors; provide coaching and mentoring to leaders-in-development.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards; manage risk through Visible Felt Leadership and ISO 14001/45001 compliance.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure planned maintenance and plant reliability; support troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Plan and manage cost budgets; monitor variances and communicate effectively.
• Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new operators; oversee site orientation and training.
