Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Operator to join the Carlin operation. You will ensure safe, efficient operation of grinding, crushing, leaching, and related circuits; monitor instrumentation; and maintain process parameters within limits.

The role requires proactive safety practices, regular equipment inspections, and teamwork to complete tasks. You will work a rotating night/day schedule to support continuous production.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential functions in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to prioritize work with minimal supervision.
• Proven safety and attendance record.
• 3–5 years of experience in processing facilities.
• Experience handling chemicals and reagents.
• Experience in mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct work area exams to identify dangerous conditions and document them.
• Inspect equipment for safety, defects, and reliability; generate work requests.
• Perform detailed equipment inspections and document deficiencies.
• Maintain circuit operating parameters within designated limits.
• Ensure sampling is conducted at designated intervals and documented.
• Operate circuits within standards to meet regulations.
• Stop and start equipment as required.
• Understand process flows and perform LOTO and troubleshooting.
• Work with team to complete tasks.
• Work rotating schedule of nights and days.
