Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Operator for the Goldstrike Autoclave Operations department to safely and efficiently operate grinding, crushing, CIL/CIP, autoclaves, roasters, and other processing circuits.

You will inspect equipment, maintain operating parameters, monitor water/slurry flows, handle reagents, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Able to work in hot or cold weather conditions.
• Prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong safety and attendance record.
• 3–5 years in a processing facility (preferred).
• Knowledge of high pressure/high temperature systems (preferred).
• Experience in Process or Mining environments (preferred).
• Experience handling chemicals and reagents (preferred).
• Experience in other gold ore processing phases (preferred).
• Willing to rotate nights and days.

Responsibilities

• Inspect work areas and correct substandard conditions, document findings.
• Conduct routine and detailed equipment inspections and mitigate defects.
• Maintain circuit operating parameters within limits.
• Ensure sampling is done at designated intervals and documented.
• Operate circuits to meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Start/stop system components and troubleshoot as needed.
• Understand process flows and perform LOTO procedures.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
