Job summary

CTR Cryo in South Carolina is seeking an AutoCAD Electrical Designer to develop and govern electrical control system documentation, translating designs into production-ready schematics and drawing packages.

You will uphold CAD standards, manage the symbol library, BOM accuracy, and ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and manufacturing, while migrating legacy drawings and working with Syspro ERP and Autodesk Vault.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 5+ years in electrical design and documentation with CAD standards ownership.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and symbol/library management.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the 'smart symbol' library and create new symbols as needed.
• Manage Electrical design file storage and change management within PDM.
• Lead migration of legacy drawings to AutoCAD Electrical with quality standards.
• Ensure BOM integrity across engineering and procurement and Syspro ERP.
• Maintain structured file environment in Autodesk Vault.
• Produce drawing packages and BOMs for projects and new product lines.
• Update 'As Built' docs and day-to-day edits.
• Improve enclosure drawings with gland hole locations and label placement.
• Assist in updating standard product manuals and technical documentation.
• Support expansion of software/automation team with team-based procedures.
